Homemade Bread - "Two Thumbs Way Up From The Kids!"

by Michelle
(Wisconsin)

Two Thumbs Way Up!

Two Thumbs Way Up!

I am a first time bread maker. I was a little concerned how well I would be able to make the bread considering I do not have a Bosch bread maker. I used my KitchenAid and followed the steps carefully that are posted on the website.

I soaked the fresh ground wheat flour overnight with the Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar. It was about 12 hours by the time I got around to making the bread. The directions were so easy to follow.

I experienced a lot of joy making the bread. My husband even jumped in and we hovered over the dough excited to taste the final product.

Let me just say that we weren't disappointed! Yummy! I have four young children and all my hard work was worth watching them lick their fingers clean after each piece of bread. I had no idea my two year old had such an appetite!

The recipe did produce six medium size loaves of bread and we've been enjoying them all week. Our favorite way to eat the bread is warm out of the toaster with coconut oil or butter and strawberry jam.

We are hooked! Thanks for the great and nutritious recipe.
