Is It Necessary To Run Pulp Through Hurricane Juicer Twice?

Do you feel a need to run all the pulp through the Hurricane Stainless Steel Juicer a 2nd time on primarily things like beets, pomegranate and fruits? Or, is most of the pulp fairly dry? Would you say you get a 'good yield' from wheatgrass and greens?

You are free to rejuice the pulp from the Hurricane Juicer if you see it is still quite moist. Sometimes the real more wet pulp, like the cucumber pulp or the pomegranate pulp really never becomes dried out as with the greens. But nevertheless, rejuicing any of the pulp will produce a bit more juice the second time.

There will not be a lot of juice produced the second time through the Hurricane Masticating Juicer, but there will be some additional juice that is appreciated. It kind of depends on my mood if I decide to go for the second or third juicing of the pulp, and dependent upon the moisture in the pulp. Sometimes I just like to try to get every last drop.

I believe the Hurricane Juicer is especially effective with the greens like the wheatgrass and the kale because of its ability to kind of squeeze, "chew," and press the juice out of the greens. This method of extraction is optimal for the wheatgrass especially and other leafy greens too.

The yield from leafy greens is superior with a masticating juicer and its method of juice extraction as with the Hurricane Stainless Steel Juicer. I remember how disappointed I was when I used my centrifugal juicer on my wheatgrass. There was no juice at all. The spinning blade of the centrifugal juicer was unable to extract the juice from the blades of wheatgrass.

Did you know the first wheatgrass juicer was pretty much created by the famous wheatgrass guru Ann Wigmore. She initially made a wheatgrass juicer from a converted meat grinder with a sieve for the juice to be strained through.
