Is The Bosch Or The L'Equip Nutrimill Grain Mill Better?

by Mike
(Mesa, Arizona)

Your Nutrimill demonstration video and review is very informative, thanks.

But I'm confused about who the product maker is. When I went to order the Nutrimill, I thought I was ordering the L'Equip 760200 Nutrimill Grain Mill.

Instead at Amazon, it came up with a Bosch Nutrimill Grain Mill. They both look exactly alike, except their dimensions and weight are written as slightly different at 12.5 x 12.5 x 14.5 at 13 lbs. and 12 x 12 x 14 at 14 lbs. for the Bosch. Also, it says the L'Equip is made in Italy and the Bosch is made in S. Korea. They both have the Nutrimill label, and look exactly alike.

The L'Equip features that it "grinds on-oily grains with precision grain feed control: no gumming, no overheating, no jamming, no hassle" and the price difference is approximately $3.00.

Can you comment on both of them, and which one are you using? Thanks, I look forward to hearing back from you.

Mike

Bosch Nutrimill Versus L'Equip Nutrimill
by: Eryn - Health Banquet Editor

Bosch Nutrimill vs L'Equip Nutrimill Grain Mill, hmmm?

You ask a great question about just who is the manufacturer of the Nutrimill? And is one manufacturer better than the other?

Well let's see...The product manual that came with my Nutrimill has the Kitchen Resource company name on it. However, the Nutrimill is not identified as either a Bosch or a L'Equip.

So I contacted the Kitchen Resource company...

They said there are no Nutrimill Grain Mills made by the Bosch company. The Kitchen Resource company has their Nutrimill manufactured in South Korea under the L'Equip brand name.

I asked why then some Nutrimill Grains Mills are advertised as Bosch Nutrimills, and they said to perhaps mislead the consumer. Interesting.

They said ever since the Nutrimill has been made, they have always been made in South Korea under the L'Equip brand name. Bosch does not make any grain mills.

No matter which Nutrimill you get, they are all the exact same, the L'Equip 760200 Nutrimill.

I measured my Nutrimill. It is 14" high, about 11 1/4" wide, and about 13" from front to back. They said the Nutrimill weighs about 14 lbs.

I hope this Nutrimill information helps you. But just remember, no matter what the advertisers choose to say, all Nutrimill Grain Mills are the same - the L'Equip 760200 Nutrimill.

Here are the top ten reasons I love my Nutrimill.

I know you will love making nutritious whole grain flour with your Nutrimill. Please make sure to view the must see Dr. Weston Price nutritional video.

Also, "Nourishing Traditions" by Sally Fallon is the best nutritional and educational cookbook on the market. You can read my "Nourishing Traditions" review here.

Ok Mike, and if you become really brave you might want to try making my soaked flour homemade bread recipe. Your family will really love it and be able to receive some great nutrition!

Come back and share here how your Nutrimill works out for you.

All the best with your Nutrimill,

Eryn

Will Nutrimill Be Able To Back "Lifetime" Warranty?
by: Burned Once. . .

Will this turn out like the Whispermill and the Dimension 2000? Lifetime warranties are only good if the company is around to honor them.

Seems so easy to declare bankruptcy and re-organize or sell the company to avoid the warranty support.

There was a time when all of the kitchen stuff resellers sung the praises of the products mentioned above. I wonder if the praises will turn to curses for Nutrimill as well.

How can I know this Nutrimill name won't disappear and become the "QuietGrinder" or some such name?

We Never Know How Long Any Company Will Be Around
by: Eryn - Editor Health Banquet

Unfortunately, we never know for sure that "any" company will be around to back up its "lifetime" warranty.

To give an example, my children received piano lessons down the road at a Piano Store. Many people bought pianos for thousands of dollars at the Piano Store that were promised they would be able to "trade up" to nicer pianos when the need arose.

Well, because of the economy, that Piano Store closed down. None of these customers will be able to "trade up" to a nicer piano at that Piano Store now. Who would have thought?

In terms of the Nutrimill Grain Mill, I suppose that could happen with that product, as with any purchased product.

All I can say is, I have had the Nutrimill for several years and have not had any problems with it. It is the most popular grain grinder on the market because of its great reputation. Consumers are very pleased with this grain grinding appliance and their lifetime warranty is in place.

I believe the company will be in business for years to come but cannot say for 100% sure that will happen. And I am really sorry to hear that companies going out of business have "nulled" the warrantys of products you needed to be serviced in the past.

I suppose with "whichever" product you choose to buy, you will have to do your research to determine if you should go forward and then "hope" the company stays in business. I do have the same frustrations as you do in this area.

Despite the reality of today's economy, I would buy the Nutrimill again in a heartbeat as well as recommend it to my best friends.

All the best in your decision,

Eryn
