Maestro Barry Silverman is the founder and music director of this excellent professional South Coast Symphony.






My family and friends were fortunate to attend this incredible classical music violin performance which took place in Laguna Hills, California. Here are my children with their cousin Lucas on the "big night."

The Lake Hills Church in Laguna Hills is the venue for the South Coast Symphony. It really was the perfect location for the symphony orchestra.

"He has received several first prize awards at various Music Teacher Association of California (MTAC) festivals and a second prize at the California International Young Artist Music Festival. He was also invited to perform in a trio at the JCM honor recital. His milestone performances include Bruch's Violin Concerto No.1 in G Minor at the age of eight and the Paganini Concerto No. 1 in D Major when he was just ten. Lucas in indebted to his Uncle Scott who helped his early violin education financially. Lucas deeply loves the violin and classical music. He is grateful to God and hopes his efforts will inspire quality of music for future generations."

Lucas continues his lessons with Vladimir Zyskind in New York.

I hope the beautiful classical music, from this gifted young violin player, lifts your soul to a higher level like it did mine. I don't believe there was one person in the packed audience who was not profoundly emotionally moved and lifted by this extraordinary violin player. Lucas flawlessly performed his twenty minute violin performance from memory.

The audience was utterly captivated with his glorious violin playing. Lucas' spell binding performance was rewarded with the audience's cheering and adulation. Lucas Stratmann received a standing ovation and thunderous applause that seemed to go on forever...

I do believe that beautiful music can heal the soul. I think my inner cells were vibrating on a more positive frequency for days after this riveting performance.

The lights were dim at the concert, so you will not be able to see Lucas real clearly. However, the sound is exceptional, so please make sure to turn your volume up high to experience the phenomena of young violinist Lucas Stratmann...
